Cut beef into bite size slices
Add salt, cooking wine and light soy sauce and some corn starch to keep the texture tender
Fry the beef until half done
Cut leek into small pieces
Chop some ginger, garlic and chillies. Heat up the oil in a wok, add chopped ginger, garlic and chilli
Add the leek and stir-fry for 2 mins and add some salt and sugar
Add the beef back into the wok and keep stir-frying
Add a few drops of dark soy sauce to colour the beef before switching off the heat
Stir fried beef with leek is ready and best eaten with boiled or fried rice
Leeks, also called 'Pearl Onion' are 90% water and often used fresh, added to many delicious dishes, salted, pickled, dried, frozen. In addition, it has a diuretic effect and helps to remove toxins from the body.
