Thai Fried Rice

Fried rice is very easy and simple recipe which can be made anytime with leftover rice. "Never make it with fresh cooked rice as it can get too mushy and will stick to the pan."

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Cooked Rice
  • 100 g Shrimps
  • 15-20 Coriander leaves
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • Chilli
  • 1 Spring Onion
  • 8 slices Cucumber
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 pinch Bouillon
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soya Sauce (or Fish Sauce)
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Sugar

Step 1

cut onion, tomato and cucumber into slices and cut garlic,carrot and spring onion into small pieces. keep them aside

Step 2

Heat the oil in a medium base pan and fry garlic

Step 3

Add onion and fry a little bit and then add shrimp and cook until they change the colour to pink. Keep Stirring to avoid burning the garlic

Step 4

Add carrots and tomatoes and keep stirring

Step 5

Add 2 eggs on the side and fry

Step 6

Add cooked rice and mix it well. Add a pinch of Bouillon to give some flavour

Step 7

Add oyster sauce, soya sauce and little bit of sugar for the flavour

Step 8

Mix well. Put the rice in the plate and garnish with spring onions, fresh coriander, cucumber and a lime wedge

Step 9

Now make a sauce with fresh red chilli, garlic and lime juice and put together with rice on a plate. Fried Rice is ready to eat
