Fried Pork
with Bell Pepper

Ingredients

  • 1 Green Pepper
  • 200 g Pork
  • 1 tbsp Corn Starch
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Wine
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • .5 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce

Step 1

Cut the pork into thin slices around half cm thick

Step 2

Add 2 spoons of cooking wine and some salt mix well

Step 3

Add 1 spoon starch to the pork, mix everything together and leave it aside

Step 4

Cut pepper into long and thin slices

Step 5

Add some oil in the wok and stir fry the pork on medium heat

Step 6

Cook pork until it's light in colour. When cooked, remove from pan and keep it aside

Step 7

Add some oil in the pan and stir fry the pepper. Add some garlic and ginger for extra flavour

Step 8

Add some salt, Sugar, Once the pepper is soft, add the pork back in.

Step 9

Add a bit of soya sauce to add extra flavour and colour. Mix well and the stir fry is ready ! Great with steamed rice
