Wash and remove the leaves and cut off the roots part. Depending on size, cut the radish in half or quarters
Put all the radish in a glass container and add white vinegar
Add sugar and salt, then add water to cover the radish. Set the container aside to let the sugar and salt melt in the water
Now cut the garlic and the chilli in thin slices and add them to the container
Mix everything with a spoon, taste and adjust salt and sugar accordingly. Refrigerate for at least three hours
After a few hours, the color should be pink. Sprinkle it with some spring onions before serving. Tastes best after 2-3 days.
