Watermelon Soup

"One of my favourite chilled soups for the summer, Very easy to make and I love the hint of lime and chilli with the sweetness of watermelon"

Ingredients

  • Imperial
  • Metric
  • 1/2 Watermelon small
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 10 leaves Mint
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 Fresh Green Chilli
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin Seeds (roasted and crushed)
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt

Step 1

Cut half a watermelon into small pieces

Step 2

Grate some ginger

Step 3

Add Watermelon, ginger, mint leaves, roasted cumin seeds, salt, sugar and chillies in a blender

Step 4

Add some lime juice

Step 5

Blend well in a mixer

Step 6

For best results, refrigerate for couple of hours before you drink
