An engineer in biotechnology, Rashmi grew up in a small town, south of India and moved to Berlin in November 2020. Growing up in a vegetarian household, cooking comes naturally to her and she feels it is a way of connecting with her family, especially her grandmother. Her recipes are reminiscent of her childhood memories. For her, a positive attitude and emotions are the most important elements for cooking and she believes that our emotions often reflect in the food we cook. She is obsessed with Idli & Vada Sambhar (a popular south Indian snack with lentils ) and can eat them all day, everyday.
